Petya Sarafova

Independent researcher.

I work between clinical research, medicine, cognitive science, and the inside of AI systems — on cognition, between the human and the machine.

I think in patterns and analogies across domains, not in linear chains. Working in these fields led me to one realization: a technology — AI in particular — becomes yours when you understand the first principles it was built on.

Grounding in those principles is the condition under which AI gets woven into thinking, not held alongside it as a tool. The depth of that integration is what produces robust results — at any scale.
